Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) defines what is allowed on Grow As You Go ("GAYG") provided by Grow As You Go. It supports our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

Security and integrity

  • Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system without written permission.
  • Do not bypass or disable authentication, encryption, rate limits, or other protective measures.
  • Report any security issues immediately through in-app support and pause testing until we respond.

Fair access and rate limits

  • Respect published API and app rate limits. Do not overwhelm services with automated calls or scripts.
  • Use personal accounts; do not share login credentials or tokens.
  • Cache data responsibly and update it as required instead of hammering endpoints.

Prohibited technical activities

  • No scraping or data harvesting that violates robots instructions, privacy expectations, or user consent.
  • No reverse engineering of proprietary source code, models, or algorithms except where legally permitted.
  • Do not introduce malware, spyware, or unauthorized code into GAYG or user devices.
  • Do not use GAYG to develop or distribute exploits, phishing kits, or social engineering campaigns.

Abuse and manipulation

  • Do not create fake accounts, bots, or sockpuppets to inflate metrics, evade bans, or mislead others.
  • Do not forge headers, metadata, or content to disguise the origin of messages.
  • Do not use GAYG to coordinate harassment, illegal activity, or trafficking.

Data and privacy

  • Only collect personal data from others with their informed consent and for legitimate purposes.
  • Do not store or share other users’ content outside GAYG without permission.
  • Respect deletion requests and privacy controls.

API usage

  • Follow documentation when using GAYG APIs. Do not exceed quotas or attempt to recreate the service.
  • Use webhooks and callbacks responsibly; do not send high-frequency polling that burdens systems.
  • Do not resell API access or aggregate GAYG data into competing services without written approval.

Consequences

Violations may lead to rate limiting, suspension, termination, legal action, or reporting to relevant authorities, as outlined in our Content Safety & Moderation Policy. We may also notify affected users when appropriate to support safety.
