Community Guidelines
Last updated: October 2, 2025
Welcome to the Grow As You Go ("GAYG") community hosted by Grow As You Go. These guidelines keep conversations strong, direct, and safe.
Core expectations
- Respect first. Challenge ideas, not people. Listen actively and respond with curiosity.
- Own your impact. Consider how your words affect others. Apologize and adjust when needed.
- Stay accountable. Keep your commitments in group challenges, check-ins, and coaching spaces.
Zero tolerance for hate or harassment
- No slurs, degrading language, or attacks on protected characteristics.
- No bullying, dogpiling, or doxxing. Do not publish private information.
- Report harassment using in-app tools so moderators can investigate quickly.
Keep it safe
- No encouragement of self-harm, suicide, or dangerous stunts. If you see warning signs, follow the Emergency & Crisis Policy and contact local authorities.
- No graphic violence or gore.
- Flag crisis situations immediately so moderators can respond.
No medical or miracle claims
- Share personal experiences, not prescriptions. Do not offer diagnoses, treatments, or promises of cures.
- GAYG is not a healthcare provider and is not HIPAA-covered.
- Link to credible sources when discussing health, training, or nutrition science.
No spam or scams
- Avoid multi-level marketing pitches, affiliate link dumps, or repetitive promotions.
- Only share products or services if directly relevant and disclosed as personal recommendations.
- Phishing, fraud, or attempts to obtain account credentials will lead to removal.
Protect the space
- Use real first names or consistent handles to build trust.
- Keep confidential information inside your private groups unless you have explicit permission to share.
- Follow our User-Generated Content Policy and Content Safety & Moderation Policy.
Moderation actions
- Violations may lead to content edits, warnings, time-outs, suspensions, or permanent bans, per the Content Safety & Moderation Policy.
- We may remove content without notice when safety is at risk.
Offline conduct
- When attending in-person meetups or events, follow event-specific rules, respect venue policies, and sign any required waivers.
- Do not bring weapons or illegal substances.
If you break these guidelines
- Expect direct feedback from moderators or peers.
- Serious or repeated violations may affect your access to coaching, events, or paid features.
